SITUATION

Having proven demand with a no-code tool, they needed a strategist who could help them develop a roadmap, operationalize product development, and spearhead product and growth. I was hired as that utility player and quickly became the head of product to bring a concept from idea to primetime.

Having proven demand with a no-code tool, they needed a strategist who could help them develop a roadmap, operationalize product development, and spearhead product and growth. I was hired as that utility player and quickly became the head of product to bring a concept from idea to primetime.

APPROACH

For six months, I worked with the co-CEOs on positioning and ICP development and led a designer plus two engineers through the full product lifecycle including scoping, designing, developing, and released a homegrown MVP in three months - followed by three months of data analysis, user research, and iteration.

OUTCOMES

In the first three months, I facilitated:


  • A series of innovation sessions to define the vision and the MVP


  • A product development process and ops stack to generate artifacts and activate an agile development model


  • The general access launch of an MVP that used AI (prompt engineering and a recursive model) to generate and edit customers' press releases, purchase a distribution package, and directly publish stories to prominent sites like the Associate Press.


In the next three months, I led the ongoing go-to-market and product optimization efforts that:


  • Activated Priceline as the first enterprise customer


  • Established a feedback loop of customers answering surveys and participating in interviews


  • Led to the company winning two notable pitch competitions totaling at $150k
